Sr Director & CFO, Southeast Europe

Role Overview :

As Sr Director & CFO, Southeast Europe , you will be responsible for driving the overall Finance performance of the Operating Unit (OU), ensuring financial targets are achieved, and robust controls environment and accuracy of reporting are maintained. You will report to the Senior Vice President & CFO, EMEA and serve as a member of the EMEA Finance Council and Southeast Europe OU leadership team, being a valuable and important partner for the organization and functional partners

Responsibilities will include:

Supervising and developing all finance activities of the Operating Unit, in particular: Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting

Business Advisory and analytics

Internal Controls

Tax and Statutory Compliance

Actual reporting & analysis

Asset Management

Supporting M&A activities

Supporting the business to achieve the results

Overseeing and directing all financial accounting activities related to accounts payables, accounts receivables, general ledger and cash management

Ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting including the coordination and completeness of annual audit reviews and ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory requirements

Providing guidance and advice, related to the management of cash flow, cost controls and expenses for different functions identifying potential financial opportunities and weaknesses and recommending corrective actions

Coordinating Long Range Plan of the Operating Unit and ensuring sound underlying strategic priorities

Leading and supporting transformation of the finance function of the Operating Unit

Defining and facilitating the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensuring effective implementation of the performance management process in finance

Nurturing talent within the organization and creating the right leadership culture by providing ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of their defined goals

What You Will Need to be Successful :

Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred

Possess a minimum 10 years of applicable leadership experience in Finance / Accounting

Speak and write excellent English and Italian

Strong presentation and communication style with an ability to influence at an executive level

Proven collaboration skills with a passion for building networks across the Operating Units and EMEA

Use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions.

Leadership - Have experience leading and shaping a team, be skilled in assessing, guiding and developing talent, setting objectives, driving toward results and creating unity across the team
