IT Network Engineer

Responsabilità Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN)

Support network connectivity between IT and OT environments, following security and segmentation best practices

Configure and manage network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls

Monitor network performance, availability, and security

Troubleshoot network issues in office and industrial contexts with minimal operational impact

Collaborate with OT, automation, and cybersecurity teams for network-related activities

Apply basic OT cybersecurity principles under guidance from security or OT experts

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures

Requisiti fondamentali Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Proven experience as an IT Network Engineer

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls

Basic understanding of OT environments (SCADA, PLC, DCS) and IT/OT separation principles

Understanding of network segmentation and IT/OT separation

Familiarity with fundamental cybersecurity concepts

Good English language

Willingness to learn OT concepts and industrial networking practices

Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
