Across the industries we support — from Automotive and Industrial Automation to Smart Devices and IoT — we transform reliable embedded technology into a foundation for innovative, dependable products.We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join an automotive software development project focused on QNX/Linux, NVIDIA and Automotive Ethernet. The role covers system and software development activities, from requirements and architecture to implementation, integration, debugging and testing, in a complex automotive embedded environment based on QNX/Linux, NVIDIA and Automotive Ethernet.What You'll Be DoingRequirements elicitation, system/software requirements analysis and architectural design.Embedded software development, integration, testing, issue analysis and bug fixing.QNX BSP configuration and device driver development.Work with build environments, kernel-level components and low-level system functionality.Development and integration in the following areas:Power & Thermal ManagementStartup Sequence & PerformanceProcess/Thread MonitoringDiagnostics – UDS, DoIP and System LoggingTime managementAutomotive Ethernet – switch configuration, PHY/MAC configuration, Ethernet stack integration and VLANsInvestigation and resolution of complex software issues in multi-component / multi-VM environments.Management and tracking of development activities and defects in Jira.Contribution to metrics, technical documentation and change-management reporting.Collaboration with architects, requirements engineers, integrators, developers and testers in an Agile/SAFe environment.What You'll Bring AlongBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering field.Previous experience with NVIDIA DRIVE / NVIDIA Thor platforms.Experience with embedded performance analysis, boot-time optimization, power management and thermal management.Automotive flashing procedures using DoIP.Strong C/C++ development experience in embedded systems.Advanced experience with Linux and/or QNX, ideally including BSP, kernel and driver development.Strong automotive embedded software background.Experience with Automotive Ethernet and communication protocols: TCP/IP / UDP, SOME/IP, DoIP, UDSExperience with Classic and/or Adaptive AUTOSAR.Experience debugging complex embedded systems using tools such as Lauterbach or iSystem.Knowledge of CANoe and automotive simulation/debugging environments.Scripting experience with Python and Bash.Experience with Jira/Confluence and requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) development processes.Experience with PCIe and complex multi-SoC or multi-VM architectures.Knowledge of functional safety and cybersecurity standards: ISO 26262 & ISO/SAE 21434Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.Comfortable working across software architecture, low-level development and system integration.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishHigh adaptability in a complex automotive development environment.
