EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Overview In this role, you will help design, develop and test spacecraft simulators that faithfully reproduce spacecraft, ground segment and space environment behavior. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to model subsystems, dynamics and TM/TC exchanges, contributing to mission-oriented simulation capabilities. The position calls for advanced software design, real-time simulation, and integration across flight and ground models, with a focus on reusability and rigorous validation. Responsabilità

specify, develop and test spacecraft and ground simulation models simulate subsystems, perturbations, attitude and orbital dynamics model TM/TC exchanges with Ground Control Centre integrate and configure simulation models enable model sharing for plug-and-play reuse plan and execute unit, integration and validation tests prepare Requirements Specifications, Architectural/ Detailed Design Descriptions, Interface Requirements, User Manuals, and test verification plans

Requisiti fondamentali

Master in Computer Science PhD in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering acceptable as equivalent 2-3 years of experience in a similar role fluent English (C1) written and spoken knowledge of SMP standards and Spacecraft Simulation Reference Architectures real-time simulation kernels and multi-core processors OO programming (C++, C, JavaScript), Python, Bash under GNU/Linux experience with integration, testing and documentation multi-cultural mindset teamwork and collaboration ability to develop productive relationships Model-driven object-oriented software design (UML, MDXML, UMF) C++, C, JavaScript, Python, Bash under GNU/Linux Real-time embedded software
