Electrical Engineer

Overview

As Electrical Engineer in our Bologna-based engineering team, you drive the execution of advanced material-handling robotic systems for semiconductor applications. You test, troubleshoot, and integrate industrial electrical infrastructure within high-tech production environments, translating complex challenges into reliable installation solutions. You collaborate with central development to align electrical work with project goals and customer needs. You will contribute to the full lifecycle of installations, from commissioning to handover, in a global context. This role offers hands-on impact at the intersection of mechanics, controls, and software.

Responsabilità Assist first-line support with analysis and troubleshooting in support cases

Analyze system behavior to relate electrical installation performance to component behavior for deep troubleshooting

Conduct electrical safety and function testing on prototypes and customer installations

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and machinery directives

Perform hands-on electrical installations and cabinet work

Produce and maintain technical documentation and bases of installation records

Requisiti fondamentali Bachelor in Electrical Engineering

minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience

Expertise in industrial automation and automation architectures

Solid experience in electrical design and electrical safety practices

Good knowledge of electrical engineering software (preferably Eplan)

Ability to understand customer production processes

Fluency in English (written and spoken)

High travel availability

Strong attention to detail and structured approach

Strong communication skills

Ability to work independently and with teams

Experience from field work and system commissioning and from testing/troubleshooting electrical installations and embedded electronics
