Job Post: Layout & Piping Materials and Piping Class Engineer Layout &Piping Materials and Piping Class Engineer reports hierarchically to Layout& Piping Materials and Piping Class Group Leader.
He/She isresponsible for all the activities related to Materials and Piping Class Groupfor project in which he/she is involved.
· Provide “feedback” to the Piping Materials andPiping Class Group Leader concerning problems arising from application ofstandard methods and work instruction;
· Setup and coordinate the activities and ensurethe proper execution in accordance with Codes, Standards, contractualobligations, Engineering Practices and time schedule;
· Related activities to Layout / Piping Materialand Piping Class Engineer:
• Piping class development;
• Component specifications;
• Piping specialty specifications;
• Material Take Off quality check;
• Technical bid evaluation and supply follow up;
• Painting Specification development for all Engineeringdept. and Vendors Painting Procedure follow up;
• Insulation Specification development for allEngineering dept. and Vendors Painting Procedure follow up;
• Quality Control Plan development for Piping Fabricationand Erection, Paint application and Insulation installation and relevantQuality Control Form
• Method of Statement for Piping Fabrication andErection, Paint application and Insulation installation;
· Review with the Layout & Piping ProjectLeader the schedule of the job highlighting all the requirements and technicalaspects which can affect the expectation and sharing the project executionplan;
· Monitor the vendor performance and conveyfeedbacks to Piping Materials and Piping Class Group Leader;
