Analog Design Engineer

Overview

As an Analog Design Engineer at NXP in Toulouse, you will design, simulate, and verify critical analog blocks for high-performance mixed-signal ICs. You will work across analog, digital, layout, and test teams to deliver robust products, contributing to new architectures and specifications. You’ll apply advanced methodologies to tackle design challenges and silicon characterization, shaping next-generation analog solutions. This role offers hands-on impact in a collaborative, technically driven environment.

Responsabilità Design, simulate, and verify analog circuits (ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, amplifiers, bandgap references)

Schematic capture, layout supervision, and post-layout verification

Collaborate with digital, layout, test, and systems teams throughout product development

Conduct design reviews and contribute to technical documentation

Analyze and resolve design issues including silicon debug and characterization

Contribute to definition of new product architectures and specifications

Stay updated on latest analog design methodologies, tools, and industry trends

Requisiti fondamentali Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field

Typically 3+ years of analog IC design experience with a strong portfolio

In-depth knowledge of analog circuit design fundamentals and advanced concepts

Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Hspice

Experience with deep submicron CMOS process technologies

Strong understanding of mixed-signal integration challenges

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team

Good English communication skills
