Solutions Architect

RED Global, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is currently looking for an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in event-driven architecture, message brokers, API integration, and microservices to design and support complex, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions.

Role: Solution Architect – AWS

Start: October 2026

Duration: 12months+

Capacity: Full time

Key Responsibilities

Design and define scalable, flexible, and secure cloud-native solutions based on AWS.

Develop solution architectures using microservices, API integration, and event-driven architecture.

Design and support solutions using message brokers and asynchronous communication patterns.

Ensure solutions are designed for high performance, scalability, reliability, and future business needs.

Ensure appropriate consideration of Cyber Security requirements for enterprise solutions throughout the architecture and implementation.

Define and maintain technical documentation, including Solution Outlines, Architectural Diagrams, and detailed technical design documentation in Confluence.

Work with DevOps teams to ensure effective CI/CD pipelines and continuous deployment practices.

Review existing solutions and integrations and identify opportunities for improvement, scalability, and optimisation.

Skills needed

Strong professional experience as a Solution Architect / AWS Solution Architect.

Strong expertise in event-driven architecture and message broker technologies.

Proven experience designing cloud-native applications based on:

API integration

Event-driven architecture

Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
