Operations Manager

Overview

As Operations Manager, you will steer technical functions across production, planning, engineering, maintenance and CI to meet site objectives. You’ll translate strategic directives into actionable plans, lead cross-functional technical teams, and monitor performance to drive quality, efficiency and cost improvements. You’ll foster continuous improvement, ensure safe and compliant operations, and partner with HR/EHS on workforce development. This role sits at the heart of a global, innovation-driven manufacturing organization and offers the chance to shape the plant’s operational excellence and safety culture.

Responsabilità Coordinate and supervise all technical functions within the plant (production, planning, engineering, maintenance, continuous improvement) to achieve objectives

Translate Plant Manager’s directives into actionable operational plans and ensure execution

Lead and develop technical teams with focus on collaboration, accountability and growth

Monitor KPIs across functions and implement actions to improve production, quality, efficiency, and cost

Drive continuous improvement projects in collaboration with cross-functional partners

Plan activities, resources, and priorities to meet timelines, budget, and quality standards

Serve as the primary technical and managerial reference for operations within the plant

Promote a strong safety culture through awareness, training, and adherence to procedures

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and address non-conformities, risks, and emergencies

Collaborate with HR and EHS on workforce planning, talent development, and safety at the site

Requisiti fondamentali Proven experience in plant operations, manufacturing, or industrial management with responsibility across multiple technical functions

Strong leadership to manage, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced production environment

Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance via KPI management, problem-solving, and CI initiatives

Solid knowledge of workplace safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in manufacturing

Strong communication and collaboration skills across operations, HR, EHS, and site leadership
