Software Engineer

Overview In this role you will contribute to delivering robust software solutions for complex rail systems. You will work within a cross-functional team to manage requirements across the software lifecycle, design and implement modules, and support operations on the applicable platforms. You will collaborate with RAMS, Verification, and Test & Commissioning teams to ensure best practices and IMS-aligned processes. Support requirements management across the software lifecycle per IMS Design and implement complete solution components, documentation, and tools per IMS Ensure proper operation of software on relevant platforms Provide support to RAMS, Verification, Test & Commissioning, and other functional units Apply common methodologies, technical solutions, and best practices in line with Development and IMS

Requisiti fondamentali

3-5 years in the software development lifecycle Experience building enterprise-class, multi-process, fault-tolerant, load-balanced, multi-tier systems Expert C++ programming skills with advanced language constructs Experience with Object-Oriented Design principles and patterns Extensive Linux development experience including shell scripting Strong diagnostic and analytical skills Experience with CI, static analysis, branching/versioning, and DevOps Ability to handle dynamic environments with parallel priorities while balancing speed and quality Team-oriented with ability to work solo when appropriate; lifelong learner and knowledge sharer Excellent verbal and written communication; experience delivering mission-critical enterprise systems team collaboration strong communication adaptability in a fast-paced environment C++ expert Linux development shell scripting
