Python Machine Learning Data Engineer

Build machine learning infrastructure with Python and SQL as a hybrid Data Engineer for an established, data-driven technology company in Quebec.

This permanent, full-time Data Engineer role partners closely with data scientists. You will build reliable data foundations and infrastructure supporting analytics and machine learning across the business. The work includes hands-on engineering, cloud, large-scale processing, and MLOps.

Key Responsibilities: Build data infrastructure supporting analytics and machine learning

Partner closely with data scientists on data foundations

Develop with Python, SQL, cloud, and large-scale processing tools

Apply MLOps practices across machine learning infrastructure

Evaluate and introduce new engineering tools

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in technical or quantitative field

Strong Python with common data libraries

Advanced SQL and major cloud provider experience

Large-scale data processing tools experience

Working knowledge of MLOps, Git, and agile tooling

Shape data engineering and machine learning operations through Python, SQL, cloud infrastructure, and reliable data foundations.
