Principal Engineer

Overview In this role you will help shape the core SparK platform at MotorK, driving architecture and execution with a hands-on approach. You will lead a small, high-caliber team and center AI-powered workflows to deliver measurable engineering leverage across a multi-tenant SaaS. You’ll own architecture decisions, review AI/agent work, and ensure reliable, scalable delivery while aligning with R&D priorities. This role offers the chance to influence data modeling, governance and system design at scale in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. You will collaborate across tribes to turn product value into tangible outcomes for customers and the business.

Responsabilità

Own target architecture and make strategic build/retire/scale calls Remain hands-on with code review, testing, and SDLC tasks for AI initiatives Build and run the team's AI layer, aligning AI outputs with review standards Lead a 2–3 person squad, manage objectives, and drive engineer growth Coordinate with other tribes and stakeholders on goals, dependencies and trade-offs Replace manual engineering with agentic, scalable solutions Document interfaces, provide self-serve tooling, sandbox, and automated certification Unblock impediments and report using Agile/Lean metrics
