Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Generali Group's Cyber Security function, you will architect and own full product verticals across backend, frontend, and infrastructure for security-relevant products in a regulated setting. You will integrate AI-assisted and agentic development tooling to accelerate delivery while upholding secure-by-design practices. You will lead system design decisions, work across Python, Java, and modern frontend stacks, and ensure compliance with NIS2/DORA requirements. Responsabilità Design and implement Python backend services (e.g., FastAPI) with data models, business logic, and cloud integrations

Develop and integrate Java components to ensure interoperability with the Python backend

Build and maintain frontend UIs using modern frameworks (React, Tailwind CSS) with focus on quality and usability

Lead system design decisions: service boundaries, API contracts, data flows, and infrastructure topology

Integrate AI and agentic components to accelerate development while applying secure-by-design and AI-security guardrails

Apply secure development practices (secure SDLC, threat modeling, SAST/DAST/SCA) and address AI-specific risks

Proactively surface technical risks, propose mitigations, and drive resolution with strong ownership

Operate as a senior individual contributor with high impact within the Cyber Security function

Requisiti fondamentali Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable expertise

6+ years of full stack engineering with depth in backend and frontend

Strong Python backend skills: REST, async, ORM, testing, production operations

Proficiency in modern frontend framework and typed JavaScript (React, TypeScript) and UI libraries

Cloud fluency (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with IaC experience (Terraform or equivalent)

Experience with agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)

Knowledge of application security and secure SDLC; awareness of NIS2/DORA context is a plus

Familiarity with AI-native development workflows is highly valued
